Boboli Gardens

I met a friend this afternoon with every intention of exploring all that the city of Florence has to offer. That was a bit ambitious, to say the least. We did not come close to canvasing the entire city, but we were able to see a few highlights.

Notably, we toured the Giardini di Boboli (Boboli Gardens). Absolutely breathtaking! It was fairly hot outside, which put a bit of a damper on the experience. I'm hoping to tour the Gardens again once the weather is a bit cooler.

As part of our tuition for L'Accademia Europea di Firenze we received a museum pass. As a "friend of the Uffitzi," I gain entrance to many many museums:
  • Galleria degli Uffizi (entrance n. “2”)
  • Galleria dell’Accademia
  • Palazzo Pitti
  • Galleria Palatina
  • Galleria dell’Arte Moderna
  • Chiostro dello Scalzo

Though I wanted to visit lots of museums during my semester in Florence, having this card will certainly motivate me to go!
